Carillion Natural Habitat Fund

The Carillion Natural Habitat is now in its forth year and with the latest donation in 2004 Carillion’s sponsorship of The Wildlife Trusts has topped £100,000. The fourth annual cheque for £25,000 has been handed to the charity’s President, conservationist David Bellamy, as part of the Carillion Natural Habitats scheme, which was set up in 2001 to help boost The Wildlife Trusts’ habitat and conservation work. Through the scheme, the 47 local Wildlife Trusts across the country are able to apply for a grant to fund a conservation project. The scheme encourages links between Carillion projects to work with their local Wildlife Trust branch to improve nature conservation within the locality of a Carillion contract or office.

Four projects were completed in 2004, for their final report click here.
