Carillion IMS Objectives and Targets for 2003

The Integrated Management Systems (IMS) team supported all the business groups in the development of their sustainability programme. Below are the objectives and targets that were set in 2003.

Ensure ‘Safety by Design’ is applied to mitigate hazards at source, where we have design input

Work with Supply Chain Category Managers to develop competence levels of Carillion accredited designers

Improve audit process to verify Group compliance with Plc Safety by Design procedure

All employees are competent to incorporate sustainability into their area of work

Undertake 2 audits with Category Managers to ensure that sustainability is used as part of the selection process
