Proposed Five Year Environmental Management Plan for Sheppey Route Ltd

This Initial 5-Year Environmental Management Plan includes the proposed performance indicators and Five Year annual performance targets that Sheppey Route Ltd and its delivery team of the Contractor (Carillion Construction), the Designer (Symonds Group) and the Operator (Carillion Highway Maintenance) will aim to meet. These performance indicators are to be read in conjunction with those included in the 5-Year Management Plan.

A Sustainability Action Plan (SAP) will be generated for the project. The initial Sustainability Action Plan has been incorporated into this plan. The SAP provides a framework for the generation of original and innovative ideas to be put forward by the whole team for all phases of the project. It will be a live document, developing further throughout the design, construction, handover and maintenance stages, incorporating buildability, risk and safety and will be accessible to the whole project team.
