Activity:

Westlink House decided to see how much money we could raise for Children in Need this year. We managed to raise an amazing £1000.

On Thursday 20th November we planned the following activities to help raise money for the cause:

Dress Code – We asked people to come to work dressed in Pudsey Colours; red, green and/or yellow. Some wore something simple like an appropriate colour tie/skirt/shirt/socks but others went for some/all of the colours top to toe! They were then charged £2 for the privilege!

Cake Sale – We had a sale for cakes etc made by volunteers from the building and were sold at lunchtime in Chimes Café.

Raffle - Lots of goodies were up for grabs - varying from Carillion Juggling Balls up to bottles of champagne.

Book Sale - Wendy on switchboard very kindly agreed to donate all funds from her book sale at Westlink House to Children in Need for 3 weeks.

We were also given a signed copy of David Beckham’s new autobiography “My Side” which we raised £150 for.
